Boater Education - Option A
|
|
Since January 1, 2004 this law applies to any Motorboat operator under age 18, and is highly recommended for boaters of all ages. Motorboat operators must be at least 14 years old.
Classes are offered throughout the state. The course is a six-hour course (proctored exam) and you must have 75% to pass. Successful completion of boating safety courses certified or recognized by other states will be accepted for non-resident motorboat operators. Responsibility lies with the operator.
