Duck Blind Design
Handicapped Accessible
|
The picture shows framework construction of a typical above ground duck blind.
The blind would be constructed of all CCA treated lumber and be on 4x6 skids
for portability. This particular design is handicapped accessible. When built,
the blind would be covered with 1/2" cca plywood and camouflaged with corn
stalks or other plant materials native to the location of the blind.
The front of the blind would be covered with "flipboards" constructed of
1/2" conduit tubing and covered with painted screen material. The
"flipboards" would be on a hinge and designed to be pushed open and closed
via a rope on a pulley.
