Sandy Channel is a 134-acre area adjacent to the Platte River with 47 acres of ponds. The area offers primitive camping.

Sandy Channel is located near the Elm Creek interchange on I-80. You can visit the Chevyland U.S.A. Auto Museum. While you're at Sandy Channel, you may see some of the local scuba divers enjoying the local underwater scenery.
