Branched Oak SRA has three trails established on the area. The most popular and longest trail is located along the south side of the lake, across the dam and to Area 11. The grass trail is used by equestrians, hikers, and cyclist. The main trail is 15 foot wide and runs over 8 miles long. There are several narrower trails established off the main trail. Most of the trails are through wooded hills. There are several access points along the trail. Campers with horses may camp in Area 3 but there are no stables available on the area. The other two trails are located in Area 6 and 7. No horses are allowed on these trails. Both are located near a popular campground and are used by cyclist and hikers. The grass trail in Area 7 travels through hills and trees and has become very popular with mountain bikers. The trail is about 4 miles long. The grass trail in Area 6 is a little over a mile long and is fairly flat as winds through a mix of grass fields and trees.
